SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

The scientific program may change for technical and/or scientific reasons without prior notice.

CNA – Comissão Nacional de Acreditação

According to the Resolution CFM 1.984/2012 where the revalidation of the title of specialist is not mandatory, ABHH will not register the events in CNA.

 

SECRETARIAT

The secretariat will work on November 3 from 14:30 to 18:00, on November 4, 5 and 6 from 07:30 to 18:00 and on November 7 from 08:00 to 17:00.  

Attendees’ registration grants access to educational materials, scientific program, exhibition, and official opening.

 

VIP ROOM - MEDIA DESK

AREA RESERVED TO SPEAKERS AND MODERATORS OF THE CONGRESS AND SATELLITE SYMPOSIA.

SPEAKERS AND MODERATORS DO NOT NEED TO GO THROUGH THE SECRETARIAT.

Working hours: November 4, 5 and 6 from 07:30 to 18:00 and November 7 from 08:00 to 17:00.

The speakers can rely on the Media Desk service. They should deliver the flash drive to the Media Desk team at least 2 hours before the beginning of their presentation, so there will be enough time to make changes and correct any mistake. Presentations will be copied to a central computer that will send it to the respective room and make the projection. Flash drives will not be accepted in the conference rooms. It is advisable to back up your presentation in other device or personal email. Given the restrict time dedicated to sessions, speakers will not be allowed to use laptops, in order to optimize the time of presentation.

 

CONFERENCE ROOMS

The rooms have limited seating capacity, which will be filled according to the time of arrival of the attendees. If the room is full, the attendee must choose another activity.

 

BADGE

The use of the badge is mandatory and non-transferable, the use by third parties will result in cancellation of registration. In case of a lost or forgotten badge, the attendee must pay the amount of R$50 for a second badge. Following the determination of ANVISA, the badge identified as Prescriber will grant access to the laboratory booths for receiving drug samples, giveaways and promotional material.

 

OUTPATIENT UNIT

Located in the ground floor. Working hours: November 4 from 08:00 to 22:00.
November 5 and 6 from 08:00 to 18:30.
November 7 from 08:00 to 17:00.

 

LUGGAGE LOCKER

Located in the ground floor, next to the secretariats. Working hours: November 4 from 08:00 to 22:00.
November 5 and 6 from 08:00 to 18:30.
November 7 from 08:00 to 17:00.

The Organizing Committee is not responsible for personal items forgotten in the premises of the Convention Center.

 

SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION

There will be simultaneous translation (English/Portuguese) in international talks. Attendees can borrow receivers from the desks close to rooms, by leaving their ID or passport. Receivers must be returned at the end of session.

 

CERTIFICATES

Certificates will be granted to all attendees.

 

ATTENDEES - can get their certificates issued in the secretariat on November 7 th . It will also be available online on HEMO website within 15 days after the conference.

SPEAKERS - certificates will be delivered at the end of each session.

ABSTRACTS: a certificate will be granted to the author who delivered the presentation and it will be a single certificate for abstract, with the title and authors as stated in the approved abstract (there will be no change, addition or removal of names).

. Oral presentation - certificates will be delivered at the end of each presentation.

. Poster and guided visit - certificates will be delivered at the end of presentation.

. Awarded abstract - certificates will be delivered at the end of each presentation.

 

EXHIBITION

Exhibition fair of products and services for the area of Hematology and Hemotherapy in the same place of the conference.

Exhibition opening hours:  

Wednesday to Friday, Nov. 4 to 6 from 8:30 to 18:00.

Saturday, Nov. 7 from 08:30 to 16:45.

 

CAEX - Central Exhibitor Service

Next to the secretariats.

Working hours:
November 3 from 14:30 to 18:00.

November 7 from 08:00 to 17:00.

 

KIDS SPACE

A spot for breastfeeding and for children aged 0 to 10 years with the obligatory presence of parents or guardians. There will be no monitor.
